Pfizer medical director says COVID-19 vaccine highly effective against Delta variant

Pfizer’s medical director in Israel, Alon Rappaport, told local media on Thursday that the COVID-19 vaccine made by the company and BioNTech was highly effective against the Delta variant, first identified in India, which has been deemed a variant of concern.
