13 crisis shelters built by Halifax volunteers will be removed

Halifax won’t give a timeline for when 15 people living in wooden shelters built by volunteers will be told to vacate. The concerned citizens who built the shelters say unless an affordable unit is offered in lieu, officials have ‘no right’ to remove them. The city says they’re making ‘every attempt’ to find the occupants adequate housing. Alexa MacLean has the details.
