Man in his 40s becomes second B.C. resident diagnosed with rare blood clot disorder

A man in his 40s is currently recovering in hospital in the Fraser Health region after being diagnosed with vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenic, or VITT, following a dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine. Dr. Bonnie Henry said this is rare but it is important to look out for blood clot symptoms.
