U.S. President Joe Biden said Tuesday that the guilty verdict in the murder trial of ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is a “step forward,” but added that there is still work to be done to address racial injustice in America. Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the death of George Floyd, a Black man.
