New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell confirmed on Tuesday the province’s first case of a blood clot linked to the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. She said the individual was in their 30s and received the vaccine in March, before the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) recommendation to not give it to those under 55.
