Denmark became the first country on Wednesday to stop using AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine altogether, following news of its possible link to very rare blood clot cases said health authorities. Head of the Danish Health Authority Søren Brostrøm said its investigations showed that one in 40,000 people vaccinated with the AstraZeneca shot would get serious side-effects.
