Premier John Horgan unveiled a plan to provide access to skills training, internships and jobs for more than 5,000 youth and young adults in B.C. The program is worth almost $45-million. During the pandemic, youth unemployment in BC peaked at 29%. it’s hovering around 12-percent right now, still almost twice the provincial rate.
