Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced on Wednesday that as part of Phase 2 of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, the province has moved up teachers in hot spot regions such as Toronto and Peel Region to be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine next week. Education workers who support students with special needs will also be able to receive a vaccination.
