Families of residents living at the Herron long-term care home in Dorval at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic have won a legal battle. A judge has ruled in favor of the plaintiffs, ordering the facility’s owner to, Katasa Group, to pay out $5.5 million. Global’s Dan Spector has the details.
