Canadian military deploying to assist vaccinations in Manitoba First Nations communities

Canadian Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan said Wednesday that the military would be sent to Manitoba Indigenous communities to help with the vaccine rollout effort in these communities. Operations in Thompson, Man., are expected to begin on March 29, Minister Sajjan said.
