The CIUSSS Ouest has apologized to the family of an 86-year-old Filipino woman who was found dead on the floor of an isolation room at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire late last month. The apology comes a day after the woman’s family spoke out, complaining about the lack of transparency surrounding the circumstances of the woman’s death. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
