Two nurses have been fired for allegedly humiliating and making racist remarks to an Indigenous woman, Jocelyne Ottawa, while she sought treatment at a public clinic in Joliette, Quebec. As Mike Armstrong reports, the incident has disturbing parallels to the case of Joyce Echequan, another Indigenous patient, who recorded hospital staff as they mocked her during her final moments in September 2020.
