A heavy police presence on Stewart St. in Peterborough on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m. Peterborough Police Service officers, including members of its emergency response team, and canine unit, responded to the area and closed area streets for an investigation.

Police were focusing on a house at the corner of Stewart and Charlotte streets. Police were advising the public to remain away from the area including Simcoe Street.
