Canada’s chief public officer of health Dr. Theresa Tam on Tuesday discussed recommendations from Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI), which say the interval between COVID-19 doses can be extended up to four months. Tam said the recommendation came after there was “increasing evidence” of the effectiveness of the first dose “gathered from different countries as well as domestically.”
