Peterborough County OPP say a body was found in a house fire in the hamlet of Stewart Hall on Monday evening.
Emergency crews just after 6 p.m. responded to a house fire on Crystal Springs Drive just south of the city in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township.
OPP say two people managed to escape the fire. A body was found inside the home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
