Speaking to reporters on Monday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said U.S. President Joe Biden does not intend to “create one party” out of Republicans and Democrats when he speaks about unifying the country. However, she said he is meeting with a group of 10 Republicans who put forward a counteroffer to Biden’s COVID-19 relief package because he feels they are negotiating in “good faith.”
