Quebec Premier François Legault on Tuesday said due to the decreasing average number of reported COVID-19 cases a day, the province may see some public health restrictions loosened in early February in some regions. He cautioned the Greater Montreal Area may not be part of this due to a higher number of coronavirus cases.
