Alberta Premier Jason Kenney said on Wednesday he was “deeply disturbed” that U.S. President Joe Biden rescinded the presidential permit for the Keystone XL pipeline expansion. Kenney called it a “gut punch” for Canada and Alberta’s economies, adding that it was an “insult directed at the United States’ most important ally and trading partner.”
