Monte McNaughton, Ontario’s minister of labour, training and skills, said Wednesday that the province has shut down 61 “unsafe” job sites and workplaces since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, adding that the province “is using every enforcement tool that we have” to enforce public health rules meant to keep workers safe.
