Retired Gen. Rick Hillier, head of Ontario’s COVID-19 task force, said on Tuesday that they plan to meet the goal set by the government to vaccinate all long-term care residents and workers, as well as essential caregivers by Jan. 21 and could finish those vaccinations before that date.
