U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell spoke briefly about the presidential election on Friday, saying he put out a statement on Twitter on his thoughts and would not discuss the vote count further. In his Twitter statement, McConnell said every legal vote should be counted, while “illegally submitted ballots” must not.
