When asked Thursday about the province’s free mental health supports offered throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically MindBeacon, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said he wasn’t aware patients were allegedly being turned away if they had a history of substance abuse and suicide attempts. Ford responded that the province will be looking into the claim later that day.
