B.C. provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported 267 new cases of COVID-19 for Monday, September 28 that took place over the weekend. From Friday to Saturday there were 68 new cases, 125 reported between Saturday and Sunday, and 74 during the period between Sunday and Monday. Henry said contact-tracing has shown the main source for transmission continues to be through social events.
