Calgary city council spends ‘a lot of money’ investigating Councillor Joe Magliocca’s expenses

Calgary taxpayers are on the hook for an audit into a city councillor’s questionable expenses. As Gil Tucker reports, an outside report on Joe Magliocca’s expenses ended up costing the city more than 10 times the amount the councilor clamed in improper expenses.
