Infectious disease COVID-19 op-ed sparks controversy after being shared by UCP

A COVID-19 op-ed column in the Edmonton Journal by Stollery Children’s Hospital infectious disease physician Dr. Joan Robinson was meant to ease return-to-school concerns – but now it’s become political. As Tom Vernon explains on the noon news, the column was shared on social media by the UCP – highlighting one line in particular – and that has sparked a lot of debate.
