Manitoba reported 40 new cases of the novel coronavirus Friday, tying the province’s record for the most cases reported in a single day. Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba’s chief public health officer suggests sticking to the fundamentals such as washing hands, socially distancing and wearing a mask when you’re not able to socially distance, being integral in stopping the spread of the virus.
