Coronavirus: ‘Concerning’ to see younger people making up large proportion of COVID-19 cases, Canadian health official says

Dr. Howard Njoo, deputy chief public health officer, said on Friday it is “concerning” to see that individuals under age 39 are becoming an “increasingly large proportion” of COVID-19 cases in Canada. He added that isolation fatigue and an “invincibility factor” to the virus are both potential factors in the increase.
