Saturday marked the first day Quebecers were forced to wear masks in indoor public places. The new directives apply to everyone over the age of 12. Children under of those with medical conditions preventing them from wearing face coverings are exempted from the rule. As Global’s Kwabena Oduro reports, businesses are happy with the new measures but they worry about the fines they can receive.
