Winnipeg police say search for 9 year old now a ‘recovery operation’

Winnipeg police said on Saturday that they have moved their search for a nine-year-old boy into “recovery mode.” The child went missing after entering the Red River on Friday evening and police released a photo and the child’s name, Darius Bezecki, should he have possibly exited the water. Police said there is still hope they may find the nine year old, even as the search has entered recovery mode.
