George Floyd protests: Trudeau decries violence against Black, Indigenous Canadians

Speaking outside Rideau Cottage in Ottawa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said it’s time to admit that many Canadians are “afraid” of police, not comforted by them, following multiple instances in recent weeks of police violence against Black and Indigenous Canadians.
