Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Saturday that the federal government was committing $62.5 million to support fish and sea processors at they attempt to bear the economic impacts of the COVID-19 economic downturn. He said this money would help the processors purchase personal protective equipment for workers and adapt to health protocols and support other social distancing measures.
