Coronavirus outbreak: Trump says COVID-19 death rates falling as U.S. looks to reopen economy

During a daily briefing alongside the coronavirus task force on Monday, U.S. President Trump said that COVID-19 death rates in some of the hardest hit areas are starting to fall “very, very substantially” as his administration looks to reopen parts of the U.S. economy.
