Mayor of Toronto John Tory announced on Wednesday that the city has launched an online portal called DonateTO for people who want to help fight COVID-19.
He said that the city’s staff has received more than $1.5 million dollars in donations before launching the portal, including personal protective equipment, food, and even household goods.
Mayor Tory said that this portal will ensure that city officials get donations where they’re needed the most.
