Coronavirus outbreak: Trudeau says government looking to boost wages for essential workers earning under $2,500 a month

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Wednesday that in his meeting with provincial and territorial leaders on Thursday, he would be looking at boosting wages for essential workers who earn under $2,500 a month. He said these include people working in long-term care homes, some of the facilities hit the hardest by the outbreak of COVID-19.
