Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Wednesday that in his meeting with provincial and territorial leaders on Thursday, he would be looking at boosting wages for essential workers who earn under $2,500 a month. He said these include people working in long-term care homes, some of the facilities hit the hardest by the outbreak of COVID-19.
