The province has temporarily suspended home births while the COVID-19 pandemic is ongoing. The Nova Scotia Health Authority states the decision was made with safety in mind but one Nova Scotia couple feels their newborn and health care workers would be safer if they were allowed to proceed with their home birth plans.
