Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil confirmed on Tuesday the first COVID-19-related death in the province, a woman in her 70s with underlying medical conditions. McNeil offered his condolences to the family of the deceased, saying that the province has “its arms wrapped around you like a family” during this time.
