Winnipeg Police public information officer Const. Rob Carver on Tuesday addressed the media about the child abuse and homicide investigation of a two-year-old boy, identified as Brett White, who died on March 26. Carver said an arrest has been made on April 3, the child’s step-mother, Victoria Reane Thiessen. Carver said it’s believed the child likely died from a head injury but said he exhibited other injuries as well.
