World Health Organization director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Friday that in a recent call with G20 leaders, he stressed the need to “fight, unite and ignite” against COVID-19. He said this means fighting to stop the virus with every resource, uniting to confront the pandemic together and to ignite the “industrial might” and innovation of the G20 to produce the tools needed to save lives. He added that they must make a promise of “never again” to future generations.
