Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister called on the federal government on Thursday to establish an emergency credit fund that would result in a lower interest rate for provinces looking to borrow money amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Pallister said Manitoba’s rainy day fund would be depleted in three months.
