Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, spoke Monday about the importance of taking personal responsibility in monitoring one’s health. She said that she had a mild fever this past Saturday and in researching more, went for a test and came back negative, and stayed home a second day to be sure it was just a fever. During this explanation, Trump appeared to briefly distance himself from Birx before returning close to the podium as she continued to explain the fever.
