Canada’s Health Minister Patty Hajdu said on Monday that the country has been preparing for potential COVID-19 spread, including discussions with provincial governments about costs and preparations. Hajdu added that the government is aware that some provinces have informed them that they have health-care deficits, and the federal government would step in to help.
