On Friday, York Region Medical Officer of Health Dr. Karim Kurji provided an update on the COVID-19 cases in York Region, announcing one new case in a 64-year-old woman from Richmond Hill. Dr. Kurji also said that one of the previous six cases that was identified has tested asymptomatic, and will need two more sets of tests before being cleared.
