Snow squalls are causing problems for motorists in Northumberland County on Friday. The region is under a snow squall warning. Among the reported crashes were a car and courier van on Hamilton Road in Hamilton Township, just east of Port Hope. The road was closed for over an hour as tow crews endured high winds and blowing snow to try to remove the vehicles. No one was injured.
