A man is in custody following a police pursuit that began in Peterborough and ended in Cobourg on Wednesday.
The pursuit began by Peterborough Police Service and ended with an arrest in Port Hope by Northumberland OPP.
No word yet on charges.
OPP say they were notified of the vehicle and began a pursuit along County Road 28 and a Peterborough County OPP officer initiated a pursuit, which was called off due to safety concerns.
The vehicle stopped in traffic near Dale Road and the driver allegedly refused to leave the vehicle, prompting an OPP officer to break the window to gain access and arrest the man.
