Dog freaks out when adopted after more than 500 days in a Niagara Falls shelter

A five-year-old pit bull mix was adopted on December 12 after spending 500 days in an animal shelter in Niagara Falls, New York. Bonita, the shelter’s longest resident – and one of its most popular dogs – finally found a home just in time for Christmas after she was adopted by local man Ray Kinz. Bonita was a stray dog prior to being taken in by the shelter.
