A local businessman is starting a new project that he believes could be an answer for Kelowna’s emergency shelter issue. He wants to build 10 – 20 ‘tiny’ shelters modelled after tiny homes he’s built. The plan is to have these structures act as an emergency shelters for homeless, that are trapped outside once overnight shelters are filled.
