Ontario’s divisional court ends provincial government’s ‘Student Choice Initiative’

Ontario’s government announced an initiative back in January that would allow students to opt out of fees that fund non-mandatory programs such as campus groups, newspapers and clubs. After huge backlash from student groups, Ontario’s court has now quashed the initiative. Kamil Karamali has more.
