A Republican senator described his interactions with President Donald Trump on Ukraine in a letter to House GOP investigators, saying President Donald Trump had denied an arrangement to release military aid in exchange for possibly helping determine what involvement Ukrainian operatives may have had in the 2016 election. It comes as a new witness, David Holmes, was added to the witness list for the impeachment hearings about his presence during a phone call between Gordon Sondland and Trump.
