One person was killed following a head-on collision Highway 7 east of Peterborough on Sunday night. Another person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Peterborough County OPP say a westbound vehicle crossed over the highway lane into oncoming traffic, struck an eastbound vehicle which caused both vehicles to ignite.
